Proceed on Interstate #80 to the Kings Beach exit to Lake Tahoe. Follow Highway #267 over the grade to Lake Tahoe. At the bottom of the grade into Tahoe, the highway ends and you turn left at the lights on to Highway #28. The Kings Beach State Recreation Area is immediately on your right. Parking and a boat ramp are available but the area fills rapidly in the summer.
